Peaceful resolution of conflicts, peace and good governance and promotion of social cohesion
The AEJT – DRC promotes lasting peace and social cohesion in the communities of Uvira and Fizi, marked by recurring tensions. The program focuses on the peaceful resolution of conflicts through intercommunity dialogue, participatory mediation and the involvement of local and customary authorities. It strengthens good local governance by equipping young people and women with skills in citizen participation, transparent management and accountability. In addition, community activities promote solidarity and living together. The objective is to build inclusive, stable and resilient societies capable of sustainably preventing violence and divisions.
