Nutrition, food security and environment
The AEJT – DRC works to improve food security and preserve the environment through the promotion of sustainable agriculture, adapted to local realities. We support communities in the adoption of agro-ecological techniques, crop diversification and the promotion of local production. The program also integrates access to drinking water and sanitation, essential for preventing waterborne diseases and strengthening community resilience. In addition, reforestation, sustainable soil management and natural resource protection actions are carried out to limit deforestation and combat the effects of climate change.
