Fight against violence against girls in schools
The AEJT – DRC works to create a safe and protective school environment by combating sexual, physical, and psychological violence against girls. The program trains teaching staff in the prevention, detection, and management of cases of violence. Listening units are set up in schools to provide a safe space for survivors, who also benefit from legal and psychosocial support. At the same time, awareness-raising activities among students and school communities promote mutual respect, gender equality, and zero tolerance for violence in educational settings.
